Old timers to MANDO STEAKHOUSE
will definitely feel at home as the interiors are much the same since
our inauguration in 1966 and the menus remain unchanged since 1975.

The Society of Mandologists who drop by every Friday assert that Mando
is part of Malmo's stomach. We humbly agree as our reflections turn
back to 40 years of satisfied guests who keep coming back, again and

Why
are steaks so good at Mando?
We use only the best cuts of meat. The meat comes from selected farms
and are grilled on lava stone grills. In the grilling process a light
smoke effect occurs as the fat and blood drops on the stones resulting
in an extra fine flavour At the same time the pores in the meat close
up in a different manner compared to frying. Our experienced cooks
know exactly when the beef is to your liking - well done, medium or
rare. The choice is yours.
If you have not tried it before,we highly recommend one of our house
specialties, the 250 gram PLANK STEAK served on oak plank with onion
rings, bearnaise or savoury butter, mixed salad and pommes frites
- all according to Tore Wretman’s school.
Tore Wretman, one of Sweden’s internationally famous cooks,
introduced and popularized the plank steak in Sweden - at times regretfully
some restaurants serve this with mashed potatoes on a prewarmed plank
which ruins the entire steak.
